PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment Schedule
To book a trip, an advance payment of 25% of the ground arrangements & 100% of the airfare is payable on the confirmation.
The balance payment of 75% of ground arrangements is due 90 days prior to arrival
If you are booking within 90 days of arrival - the entire cost of the trip is payable on confirmation.

Paying For Your Trip
You can pay either by a Credit Card or a Debit card

by Bank Transfer

By Credit card:
We accept payment by all major debit & credit cards - Visa/ Master/ Amex & Maestro

All payments taken on debit or credit card will be taken in the Indian Rupee equivalent of the US$ (or Euros or GBP) price. The final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.

By Bank transfer:
We accept payment through international bank transfer. We would provide you with all the necessary details of our bank along with our invoice and you can wire transfer the payment from any part of the world. Payments must be made in the currency of the invoice and you will be responsible for any bank charges that may be incurred.

In all cases, a booking will be confirmed when we are in receipt of cleared funds.

For peace of mind for online payments, our site is protected and all card payments are encrypted using the internationally accepted security system, SSL.

PAYMENT TERMS

Contracting Parties
These Terms and Conditions are legally binding between you, the Traveller(s) and MAGNUM Destination Management PVT LTD referred to as 'MAGNUM.'

Our bookings are tailored to your requirements. Before a booking is confirmed, we will send you the full details of your proposed trip by email or for you to access on-line. Once you have confirmed to us that you are happy with the proposal, we will proceed to take payment and issue you with a booking confirmation.

A binding contract between us and you is formed when we issue you with our booking confirmation after having received payment from you, in cleared funds, of either the required deposit or the full price of the trip (depending on when the booking is made relative to the intended departure date).

Acceptance Of These Terms
An acceptance of a quotation from MAGNUM constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which take effect immediately.

Your Itinerary
Please note that accommodations and arranged sightseeing are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond MAGNUM'S control.

Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. MAGNUM also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.

In case of any appreciable variation in the tour price due to these circumstances, MAGNUM reserves the right to make adjustments to the tour costs as necessary.

Accommodation, Meals, Transfers & Transportation
Your trip itinerary clearly indicates all accommodation, room type(s) and specifications. Meals, when included, are as shown in the itinerary on the particular days. Private Transfers where specified in the itinerary will be provided and Transportation will be as specified in the itinerary.

Special Requests
Specific requests should be advised at time of booking. Please note that every effort will be made to secure special requests, however; they cannot be guaranteed.

Taxes And Gratuities
Hotel taxes as imposed by city and state governments are included. Airport taxes are included only where specified in the itinerary. Gratuities for guides, drivers, porters, camp staff, ship crew and Tour Managers are not included and are at the discretion of the traveller.

Price Changes
The price of your experience is inclusive of taxes and where applicable, all additional fees and charges and other costs. Where any costs cannot be reasonably calculated by us in advance drawing up your contract, we will give you an indication at the time of booking of the type of additional costs which you may still have to bear.

Occasionally, prices change due to increases in taxes, transportation and accommodation cost, exchange rates, etc. In exceptional circumstances, MAGNUM reserves the right to increase the price of a trip accordingly.

Prices & Arrangements
The tour price includes planning, handling and operational charges and is quoted based on the current rates of exchange and tariffs. Entrance fees as part of scheduled sightseeing tours are also included in this price. This price is subject to revision in line with significant changes in foreign currency exchange rates, hotel and supplier tariff rates, local and central governmental taxes.

Exclusions
The cost of obtaining passports, visas, excess baggage charges, items of a personal nature such as drinks, laundry, telephone calls, fax charges and excess baggage charges unless expressly included in writing, are not included in the tour price. Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions applicable to your international flight.

Passports & Visas
On confirmation of the booking, we will provide you with general information relating to passport and visa requirements. Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return. Airlines require photographic identification.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to ensure that you and your party will be able to obtain, and will be in possession of, all necessary travel documents/visas in advance of travel. It will also be your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party will be able to comply with all health formalities for the destination concerned.

We will not accept liability if you or any member of your party is refused entry onto any transport or into any country due to failure on your/their part to carry correct documentation or to comply with relevant health formalities.

Baggage
MAGNUM provides handling of baggage only as specified in the quotation. Weight restrictions for baggage on some routes on internal/domestic flights may apply; details can be obtained on the respective websites. Baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk throughout the tour and MAGNUM assumes no liability for lost or damaged baggage. Baggage insurance is strongly advised.

Please check with your international carrier for other baggage restrictions applicable to your international flight.

Health And Insurance
It shall be the duty of the traveller to inform MAGNUM in case the traveller has any medical condition that may affect his ability to enjoy and pursue fully the Tour arrangements and wherein the interest of the Group or any member thereof is prejudicially affected.

MAGNUM reserves the right to ask the traveller to provide written certification of his/her medical fitness before departure. In the event that a medical condition has not been disclosed then MAGNUM will not be liable to provide any assistance or money back.

It is a mandatory condition that the traveller is adequately covered by Overseas Medical Insurance policy and other appropriate Insurance Policies to cover the risk of life, limb and property while on tour, as MAGNUM will not be responsible for the same.

Limits On Magnum's Responsibility
MAGNUM, its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip. It purchases transportation (by aircraft, coach, train, vessel or otherwise), hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers. All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, MAGNUM is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or of any third person.

In addition and without limitation, MAGNUM is not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection to the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force major, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labour activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or another failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for the failure of any transport mechanism to arrive or depart on time. There are many inherent risks in adventure travel of the type involved here, which can lead to illness, injury or even death.

These risks are increased by the fact that these trips take place in remote locations, far from medical facilities. Passengers assume all such risks associated with participating in this trip.

If You Have A Complaint
If you perceive any lack of conformity during your trip, please inform our representatives immediately who will endeavour to put things right. If your complaint is not resolved locally, please contact us on phone, so that we can remedy the problem and make any alternative arrangements that may be necessary. If you fail to follow this procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint at the time the problem occurred and we bear no responsibility for ex-post facto complaints under this contract.

Jurisdiction
This contract is governed by INDIAN law and is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India.
